Well, if you're in the same position I am, I want the K10D because of 
many new things that it offers (note: speculated features), improved 
image quality, shake reduction, future support for USM lenses, sealed 
body, faster, bigger buffer, better dynamic range, 10Mp, etc.  So, 
should I keep my *istD if I'm not made of money?  Probably not, so I 
sold mine, to help me finance the new one.  Sure the *istD still takes 
great pictures, but the K10D is more along the lines of what I would 
like as a tool right now.
