I fully expect that if they have gone the distance to a weather  
sealed body, they will start with one or two matching lenses as well.  
And that future lenses at the top end of the price range will also be.

On the one hand, Pentax is supporting a huge, adamantly conservative,  
legacy community of users better than any other manufacturer. On the  
other hand, they are moving forwards with new features and new  
technologies, new users who couldn't care a whit about the legacy  
stuff. I think they are to be praised, not lambasted, for adding  
weather sealing to the K10D's portfolio.
