I expect that whether or not we see a higher-spec 35mm-class DSLR will depend mostly on the success of the K10D. If the camera turns out to justify the current excitement (which has gone way beyond the current-Pentax-user crowd) and proved to be a wild success, we assuredly see a higher-spec model.
