the Canon 20D has it too.  I used it a few times and then realized for 
my style, it is totally useless.  I do all my viewing/editing/sorting in 
CS2 so a separate JPEG image of any dimension was never used.

That being said, I'd vote for k10D over the k100D for the 2 control 
wheels and provision for a battery pack/vertical release plus the dust 
sealing, etc, etc.  It looks like a really good offering.
