A number of people have been carping about how big the K10D is. I was
doing a bit of thinking about that and decided to compare the published
sizes of the *ist-Ds to the K10D, I wanted to use the D but I couldn't
find the published data, and I was just too lazy to measure it.. I then
compared the difference in size of the LX to the MX and guess what.
It's in the same ball park. The K10D is 6/10 of an inch wider, 4/10 of
an inch taller and 2/10 of an inch thicker than the *ist-Ds. The LX is
roughly 5/10 of an inch wider 3 or 4/10 of an inch taller, (with FA-1
finder), and about 1/10 of an inch thicker.the D is a couple 1/10's of
an inch wider than the Ds and a couple 1/10's of an inch shorter than
the Ds.

The bottom line is that the K10D is in size to the *ist-D/Ds roughly as
the LX is to the MX. Neither the LX or MX were huge compared to others
in their respective class.
