Mark, the text says that test version they could look at for three
hours were not finished enough to deliver useful test images. “We
know that the final version will deliver 16-bit raw files.” Where did
you see the Sep 11 stuff?

I received the printed version of the mag with the K10D preview on
the 14th, that's perfect timing, if any! Their conclusion is very
positive; “Pentax has created a very strong competitor to Nikon,
Canon, Sony and Olympus, with the reservation that we have not seen
any images from the camera. We don't really expect it will make
photographers convert, but for someone who is buying a new system,
there is much in favor of the Pentax, especially with the low price
in mind.”

The same issue of K&B also have a review of the K110D which is also
very supportive. “Best among the low priced.” A sensible choice,
simply put.

Things are looking good for Pentax right now. Eight supersonic lenses
coming up. Now, where is that medium format camera?

> Swedish mag is claiming that K10D RAW files will be 16-bit color.
> Apparently they're claiming that all extant Pentax promotional
