Tap water in some parts of the eBay has a strong chemical taste, at least to my taste buds. Plus there may be chemicals in the water that have not been removed. Those chemicals are pesticide and fertilizer residues, and there seems to some level of that gasoline additive in the water as well (MBT, MTBT ...) I really don't want to drink our tap water, and do so only when necessary. I much prefer spring water from certain known sources, and one or two brands of bottled, sparkling water. Heck, I don't even let my cats drink the tap water her. IMO, tap water is for flushing toilets, doing the laundry, and running through the dishwasher.
