I like tripod collars for making shooting verticals easier. Unscrew, rotate, tighten, shoot. flopping the whole camera over on the tripod screws up my composition and the relationship of the camera to my eye and the flopped-over tripod head gets in the way of my right hand. Also I like to have my teleflash setup attached to the lens' tripod foot (via QR adapter) so that the flash is always above the lens. Give me a #$%##$%% tripod collar on anything 200mm and over! > And I don't think Pentax has ever used a tripod mount > on a lens shorter than 300mm. 200/4 A and FA macros and the 80-200/2.8 -- Christian http://photography.skofteland.net -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
