I have one borrowed from a friend. Well, she lend it to me once and never asked for it again...I would have done the same in her place ;-)
The probem for me, that I tend to like lightweight equipment, is its size and weight. Because of this I won't use it often, even if it is a great performer. (That's why I sold my A70-210 and I recentry acquired a 50-200) However, I have to admit that, not being used to long teles, the 450mm equivalence on the Ds is amazing (paparazzi feeling). You need a sunny day or good tripod...or..agggh...SR. --- Subash Jeyan <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> escribió: > hi godfrey, > > thanks for the response. that's good enough for me > to go ahead with > the purchase. like you said, the lens won't be used > too often and yes > will be using a tripod too.. > > liked the wharf picture... > > thanks, subash > > On 9/22/06, Godfrey DiGiorgi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > > it's not great wide open but stopped down 2-3 > stops it works pretty > > darn well.
