I hope so, as for some focal lengths, all I've got is non-Pentax
glass. And a greater difficulty for me if we require Pentax
lenses is that while I can look up which body I used for each
roll of film, I seldom record which lens was used for which
frames. So unless it's obvious from field-of-view and perspective,
I may not _know_ whether a potential submission was made with
a third-part lens or not.

The impression I've had is that the PUG is for members of
this particular little community to show off to each other,
and that while we all identify as Pentax-users, some of us
do have other equipment as well. I know that I don't think
of myself as a "Pentax and Olympus and Konica" shooter, but
I've had to skip over some photos I wanted to share when I
noticed they were made with non-Pentax cameras. (For some
reason those shots always come to mind during theme months...)
Okay, the Olympus died a couple years ago, but I did get
some cool shots from it.
After all, while we do want to show off (as a side effect)
what can be accomplished with Pentax gear, it's the photographer
rather than the equipment that makes a photo a good photo.
And whatever equipment used for a particular image, it's
still showing off what a self-identified Pentax-user can
do; someone who considers Pentax a brand name worth being
identified with whether it's his or her only brand or not.
So I can see why we've allowed non-Pentax gear in the past.
That having been said, I _do_ agree that restricting a
gallery with Pentax prominently in the name to photos made
with Pentax gear is _not_unreasonable_. But I do hope that
the most inclusive interpretation of that restriction is
used. I'd hate to have to rule out large numbers of
potential submissions because my 135/2.8 screwmount is
a Vivitar, or my 400/6.8 preset K-mount is some off-brand,
or I can't remember whether I used the Super Takumar 55/1.8
or the Fuji 50/1.7 that day.
"I'm a Pentax shooter, and I shot this on my trusty Pentax."
(Yes, I know the lens is more important to image-forming
than the body. I still don' wanna be left out 'cause I
couldn't afford a Pentax lens in a particular length.)
