That's more a case of unimpressive edge performance from Canon 
wide-angle glass (Notably the 20/2.8 and 16-35L). You'll note the guys 
putting Zeiss 21/2.8's, OM 21's, Nikon 17-35's and Leitz 19/2.8's on 
their 5D and 1Ds's with adaptors don't have those issues.

I suspect strongly that the Pentax wide glass, especially the FA 20 2.8 
and A* 15/3.5 do better than the Canon's. Canon's strength has long been 
in longer glass (and the 85's and up justify the L reputation)
