I have just placed an order on a UK supplier (price to be confirmed, but expected to be 10% more than US price plus shipping and taxes), and was told that availability is expected to be good, and delivery was firm for the first week of November.
The proof of the pudding, of course........., but I reckon that either Pentax has built up some seiously large stocks of this model, or they have under-estimated potential demand. Let us hope it is the former.
