My last 3 system upgrades have been driven by the demands of film. A 
pure digital workflow is much easier on system resources than scanned 
film is (Especially HDD space, 10MB/image beats 20-140MB and image any 
day [20MB is 2820dpi scans of 35mm B&W at 16 bits per channel 
monochrome, 140MB is 2400dpi scans of 6x6 colour at 16bits per channel 
colour)
