It has the same viewfinder as the D200 - which is to
say, a very, very good one. 

Actually, the D200/S5 body is excellent (unless you
find it too big/heavy). Superlative ergonomics and
build quality.

It is a great advance over the S3 body which was
tolerable, no more.

If it were affordable and I could get my hands on the
Nikon 18-200mm VR, I might be tempted by it. But it
will probably be very overpriced (like its
predecessors) and that lens (the only wide-to-anything
Nikon VR zoom for DSLRs) is both expensive and
practically impossible to find, so I'm not tempted.
