Seems like it's a real bottom-of-the line machine with a limited upgrade path. According to what I've read, it only supports one hard drive. 512mb of ram is marginal. Comes with Windows Media Edition - don't know anything much about that but it would seem that you'd be better off with a straight version of WinXP. Dell is usually loaded with crap programs and bloatware - not a good thing. You probably won't get a Windows disk with the machine, which, IMO, is a big failing. What size hard drive are you getting? Do you plan to run Photoshop?
Good luck with it, I sincerely hope it will serve you well. I just don't see it as a machine with long-term potential or much in the way of upgrade possibilities.
