Ah, Avid. Probably my biggest missed opportunity. I was working at Apollo with Bill Warner when he dreamed up the idea of Avid; in fact I wrote the proof-of-concept demo programs he used to show potential investors that it was possible to do video editing on a digital platform. I could have left with him, and been CTO of the company.
