(1) Opinions on the Star D 28mm f2.8 MC in perfect shape
would be appreciated. Is this an acceptable third party
lens? Don't know mucha bout it. Wnat to sell it on ebay
and don't want
to ask too much or too little. It is a 52mm filter thread
size and comes with lens cap. I bought it yesterday as an
investment
at a Sal army for $10.00.
(2) Got 3 close-up "filters" that mount on the front of the
lens. quite remarkable magnification to my eye but has
anyone got any tips
about using these they could pass on?
(3) I need a bracket for my newly acquired Vivitar 285hv
zoom Thyristor, cause, guess what, it doesn't swivel (did I
pay attention when buying it? NOT.) but aside from that
it is damned heavy mounted on top of my camera. I'm strobe
challenged but feel I need to learn for a few situations
beyond my ebay product shooting. I've already discovered
the joy of Styrofoam bouncing, but ahd a problem due to lack
of swivel when wanting to do a vertical shot. Anybody got a
bracket for me?
(4) LOts of nice folks on PDML and CGP (the scrabble list)
have offered me shelter from the storm as I head west but I
have a shelter gap between CLeveland and Chicago.
My intended route will keep me clear of super highways -
would most like to stay
somewhere in Indiana along route 24, which goes straight
across the state below
Ft Wayne. I'd be expecting to get there on Tuesday the
9th. Alternatively,
a suggestion for a tent camp site would be appreciated...
even your drive way :)
I'm a good little guest, bring my own bed and linens and
nice host or hostess gifts.
