I am so sorry to hear this, John, for numerous reasons. You didn't betray anyone's trust. Mike Reed encouraged you to come here and drum up some business for him, and then he cut you loose. IMO, if any trust was betrayed, Mike betrayed yours. He's certainly going to benefit from whatever time and energy you put in here.
