Walt, if it's in decent state you can't go wrong at that price. I own that lens, and I am very happy with it. I had bought one from the first series, but it was FD mount, so I sold it again. It's a huge monster in comparison. Image quality ist great IMHO, even wide open. Bokeh may be somewhat funny.
