I'm (obviously) in support of such a thing. The aggravation is
the lack of it on the K10D. The -D was a marketing oops. Since the
-DS/DL and their offshoot were "lesser" than the -D, they couldn't well
include it on them.
Not having it on their current flagship model is rather
disappointing.
It's a rude departure from years of flawless backwards
compatibility for NO good reason (except marketing to try to sell new
lenses).
