Don't you understand that this is a key turning point for pentax?
They always had a backward compatiblity support when it was
Easy and cost effective to do so and it still is. They have
Now flip-flopped and are screwing customers by not supporting
Features ON PURPOSE when they still easily could. That means
You cant trust them anymore and even if you buy new lenses
Today they might abandon them shortly too just to get you
To rebuy again for no reason. This isnt just one little metering
Issue, its their whole policy and loyal customer support they
Are abandoning...

Honestly, I don't think you'll ever see another 35mm-style k-mount
Pentax body with an aperture simulator. Ever. Even the last film body
they produced didn't have it. Pentax is done with it. Period. Now...
If only you guys could just get over it. BooHoo, I can't use my old
lenses the way I want to. Pentax doesn't give a shit about you. They
are looking, oh yeah that's right, ahead. To the future. New lenses,
new features. The past? Well that's just the past and good on 'em for
finally stepping it up and producing interesting things and trying to
compete for my $$.
