I can't understand why you need to know about the dispute between
Royal Mail and Parcelforce. Your contract was with USPS to deliver a
package to an address in the UK, so USPS's responsibility lasts right
up until delivery. This means that their tracking system should be
updated to show which company they handed it over to. If it was in
customs they should know about it, although in fact customs doesn't
usually take very long in my experience.

Royal Mail and Parcelforce are usually pretty good and quick about
things. Do you know for sure that the package is in the UK, or just
handed over to the UK postal people? Perhaps USPS handed it over to
our chaps at the dockside in New York or someplace, and it's on a
Royal Mail container ship somewhere in the mid-Atlantic. It often
takes several weeks for books that I've ordered from the US to arrive
because they travel by surfacemail.

Incidentally, Royal Mail and Parcelforce are part of the same group of
companies, so they have no excuse for blaming each other. If you need
to raise it perhaps you could try through the parent company:
