I have not been shooting 35mm or digital much in the last
few years ( kinda got into LF ). For $600 the Pentax may
Be well worth it (K100D) even with the disabled functions on
K/M lenses, but I would much rather buy something a lot
Better with K/M support, higher resolution, and FF for more money.
EOS seems years ahead of Pentax in DSLR systems and I can
Even use my screwmounts on the EOS bodies if desired.
I am not a pro photographer which means I photograph casually
occasionally for pleasure not money. I am in no rush or have no need to
Do anything at this point which is a fortunate situation to be in
As far as I am concerned. I can afford to shoot film and take the time
To scan as it is now but if I had to do it a lot I would switch
immediately.

You've been saying that Pentax can't be trusted for years. So why
haven't
you jumped ship, and shown that you're not all talk and no trousers?

You can't just go on whining for the rest of your life. Or can you?
What a terrible thought. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!
