I have not been shooting 35mm or digital much in the last few years ( kinda got into LF ). For $600 the Pentax may Be well worth it (K100D) even with the disabled functions on K/M lenses, but I would much rather buy something a lot Better with K/M support, higher resolution, and FF for more money. EOS seems years ahead of Pentax in DSLR systems and I can Even use my screwmounts on the EOS bodies if desired. I am not a pro photographer which means I photograph casually occasionally for pleasure not money. I am in no rush or have no need to Do anything at this point which is a fortunate situation to be in As far as I am concerned. I can afford to shoot film and take the time To scan as it is now but if I had to do it a lot I would switch immediately. jco
