Been there, done that, got the T-shirt (polo shirt, actually).

We were doing some custom development for Lotus back in the
days when Microsoft Office actually had some true competition.
Somehow we ended up with a copy of the 'Monkey' virus on a
floppy (remember them?  Remember when you could actually put
a serious amount of software on something that small?) that
we sent to Lotus Development.   Their network anti-virus
software caught it before any harm was done, but it was still
embarrasing (and I had a few choice words for the person who'd
managed to get one of our development machines infected).

Oh, yes - the polo shirt.  That would be the "Lotus 1-2-3"
shirt I got as part of that project.  We were offered a choice
of sizes: S, M or L.  For some strange reason the Lotus guys
weren't amused when I asked if I could get one in XL ...
(Think about it; what was the Microsoft competing product?)
