When the S800 (BCI 6 inks) first came out there was a pretty long
discussion on the DPreview printer forum about this. The Canon "Photo
Paper Pro" was the worst in fade resistance. This was during a time
when the Epsons were getting a bad name for their print fading. The
Kodak paper (which I do not think is produced like it was back then)
was surprising better with the Canon and Epson dye based inks. Of
course the pigment based inks the newer class printers use are
supposed to be much better in fade resistance.
