I would not be surpised that someday somebody makes a M42 DSLR
Due to the still tremendous popularity of them particularly the
Pentax SMC Takumars. They are some of the finest handling lenses
That's for sure.
( not pentax of course ).

No, primarily because it's a totally different mount I guess.
