The point of using the Leica M as a reference was to indicate that focusing is not necessary for certain types of shooting situations. I am talking about shooting WITHOUT focusing, by using DOF rather than precise focusing. I do it with the Leica and I did it with the Spottie, and I've done it with K-mount lenses by setting the aperture and exposure and just not bothering to focus when the need is to shoot quickly. You are so focused in seeing things only in your limited way that you cannot accept or imagine that there are other ways and styles of photography. At times reading these threads in which you participate I've gotten angry or frustrated with you, but this most recent series of messages, over the past couple-three days (!) I am feeling sorry for you. You are filled, it seems, with such doubt, anger, and vitriol. That you can spend so much time arguing in such an angry and mean-spirited fashion indicates an emptiness that must, somehow, be filled. Three days of repeating the same tired, almost hatred-filled rhetoric, three days of hurling insults at people and posting epithet-filled messages, indicates a person of barren spirit and soul. Please seek professional help. I am sure your county has some mental health programs available, or perhaps your physician can recommend some medication. I am serious. I am concerned for you. When I bought a lens from you off eBay your anger filled reaction was very similar to the way you're behaving here when I told you the front part of the lens was loose. You accused me of having broken the lens, you yelled and fumed. Your behavior and attitude was such that I'll never deal with you again on eBay, just as I, and others, won't deal with you here on the list. You are a sad example of a human being.
