Obviously as sensor pixel areas rises there is an accompanying advantage in signal to noise ratio and subsequently sensor exposure latitude. So the better the sensor the more advantageous sampling with 22 bit precision becomes. If the system provides the advantages suggested then they'd be foolish not to implement it in future cameras. However the crux of the discussion here is of course regarding the validity of peddling the significance of a 22 bit ADC in a system that's really very unlikely to even use a fraction of its capabilities. -- Rob Studdert HURSTVILLE AUSTRALIA Tel +61-2-9554-4110 UTC(GMT) +10 Hours [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://home.swiftdsl.com.au/~distudio//publications/ Pentax user since 1986, PDMLer since 1998 -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
