Thanks Paul, Ken, John C, and Bruce.

By lowering the iso and increasing the time and f stop, i can see a  
big difference in the shots, and post process.

I used the level on the triopod head, but i quess its not as accurate  
as i hoped. I was in a bit of a swampy area and was steading the pod  
with my hand. May be that sent it off level a tad.

Thanks for the comment on the horizon. I never noticed it.

BTW, this time i remembered what i didi in PS<g>. Channel Mixer,  
Monochrome, R G B = 25 70 5 and i used a curves level on the darker  
bits with a minor down tweak. No sharpining for the web version.
