Thanks, Marnie. But that turns out to not be it, as there is no such account on the system. I still lean towards the XP Firewall. I guess I should disable it an see since I now have the firewall in the router. I do note that I have my user account set up as the admin account too.
Unfortunately my mid-term memory is not good these days, so it is sometimes hard to figure out what I did and why.
