I thought APS film base was thinner to prevent curling up, and in fact it
contributed to the flatness on the film plane.
But I remember you were an APS film expert :-).

If I could continue to get ISO 100 APS film, like Fuji Nexia F100 (not so
much on 800 but it helps for sports shooting), I would still use my APS SLRs
once in a while.
Perhaps I may drop in my local lab to see what sort of equipment they have
for me to use in the experiment.

I will disassemble one of the cull APS cartridges tonight and start closely
examining it.
I will be very happy if I can reload Reala 100 or other 100 films.
