If James is having the same problems I am, it's finding a brand that will work! I've just tried TDK, Laser and Verbatim DVD-R's in my Matshita UJ-811 drive on my laptop, and it won't recognise the existence of any of them. I'd be grateful if anyone who has succeeded with this particular drive would let me know which brand DVD was used?
