Are you kidding? I dont need
to buy a new finder to know that
general purpose finders ( the ones
found in most SLRS, not specialty finders
specifically designed for wide angle or
telephoto lenses), dont change the basic
optical properties of lenses and the
wider the lens, the deeper the depth of
field, and the deeper the depth of field
the harder it is to find the true point
of focus. Its very basic stuff here
and unrelated to the finder itself.
Your "proof" that I havent used your DSLR
finder so I cannot be correct on the matter
is wrong because its not a finder related
difference. Its a lens focal length related
difference.

We're done here. have a nice day, better yet, a good life. My
experience is valid, your comments are not since you've not used the
lenses in question on an istDS. Anything you say is based on different
experiences and a lack of experience with current finders.
