I disagree, Paul. A list owner's responsibility is to manage the list, deal with technical issues of subscription and communications, and deal with problem subscribers. JCO can go off and dominate the list traffic on almost any topic. It creates bad will and a poor image for the mailiing list, and for Pentax by association.
Remember that the mailing list is archived and available anonymously to the public. Do you really think it a good thing that a bazillion messages full of such nasty dialog/diatribe is published associated with your name, Pentax' name, etc?
