One thing I like about digital is the small file size. For film, I scan 
at 16 bit to TIFF's, 2400DPI for MF (6x6 and 645) and 2820DPI for 35mm. 
I run about 2GB a roll for colour and MF B&W, 35mm B&W is 800MB a roll 
or so.

All of my stuff is stored on a HDD and archived to DVD, although I'm 
behind on archiving my scans by a few months (not a huge issue as I can 
always rescan, I'm much more diligent about backing up my RAW's).
