I didn't say I was raising cash at all. My original message was clear.

Of course not. I have the 28-105 Powerzoom on my PZ-1p, and I'm one of
those few people who DO use the powerzoom functions. I never intended the
24-90 to replace the 28-105 on the PZ-1p.
I have bought and sold many Pentax lenses because I want to evaluate them
personally and get to know their features firsthand. I no longer have a
bunch, like the 20-35, the 24-50, the 15, the pancake, etc., but I know what
their strengths and weaknesses are, and obtaining that info firsthand is
worth it to me. When I pass a lens on, it is in perfectly new condition,
and I have learned something I wanted to know. This is a gearhead hobby,
so this really should not seem strange.
