"Why am I selling it? Only because I can't afford the MZ-S to put it
on."

Eh??? You are selling it because you cant afford an MZ-S to put it on,
but you can afford to throw money away evaluating a lens that you didnt
want to keep anyway. Yet if you could get an MZ-S you would keep it,
but you wont because you cant. Whether or not you have an MZ-S does not
make any difference to whether or not you like this lens. Maybe if you
hadnt bought all these lenses you never intended to keep, just to test,
then you would be able to afford the MZ-S????

Subject: Why sell the 24-90?

"If you are selling it to raise cash for the body, then what on earth
did
you buy it for in the first place?"
I didn't say I was raising cash at all. My original message was clear.

"Is there a reason why it cannot be used on other bodies? "
Of course not. I have the 28-105 Powerzoom on my PZ-1p, and I'm one of
those few people who DO use the powerzoom functions. I never intended
the
24-90 to replace the 28-105 on the PZ-1p.
I have bought and sold many Pentax lenses because I want to evaluate
them
personally and get to know their features firsthand. I no longer have a
bunch, like the 20-35, the 24-50, the 15, the pancake, etc., but I know
what
their strengths and weaknesses are, and obtaining that info firsthand is
worth it to me. When I pass a lens on, it is in perfectly new
condition,
and I have learned something I wanted to know. This is a gearhead
hobby,
so this really should not seem strange.
