Do all the pentax DSLRs have user changeable screens
and which screen types are not available for them that forces
you to "do it yourself" like this? (Seems weird that they
would have the screens user changeable and not have the
ones you want).

It is a bugger to do, lemme warn you. The way I did it was to
get
out my dial calipers and measure the old one. Then I split the
difference
between that and the new (oversize) one and scratched a line on the
edge.
Repeat for the other dimension and at least there's a target.

The really annoying part is trying to sand all that stuff off
while only holding the screen by the edge. A dremel or fine-grit belt
sander would have helped.
