Hi- I have a Tokina AT-X 12-24 F4, (web rumors say the Pentax 12-24 is the Tokina lens with SMC coatings- Is this true?), and I got that very same case for it. The Lowepro 1W case is a snug fit for the lens shade, and you have to reverse the shade to make it short enough to zip the top closed. A little inconvenient, but it does fit.
