LOL ... No, not at all. But NOT buying a perfectly good DA series lens for your DSLR simply because it does not cover 35mm film format is senseless to my way of thinking. (Although I had and didn't like the FA31 all that much, have not been too interested in the FA43, the FA77 is a delightful lens.
