I chose the K100D, but SR was a major factor for me, as I shoot a lot of low-light work which benefits from SR. So you're what you are saying is while the DS has some nicer features, the K100D is okay and the AS is nice? Slightly faster write speeds sounds good. Six of one and half a dozen of the other, as bigger buffer may be more crucial actually. Not that I shoot action shots, one just gets tired of waiting.
