Yup. KEH. Good price. The prices on the *istD there are really low now, BTW.
I wanted one with a faster write and a bigger buffer, so I went with the DS.

I don't like shilly shallying around shopping. Actually I hate shopping, so I
try to make up my mind fairly quickly.

Not in my hands yet, but it will be fun to try out the Pentax glass I have
when it arrives. I decided I could wait for SR until later when I will probably
get the K10D.

More important to me now than SR is seeing if I can get as good results (or
almost as good) with the DS and some older Pentax glass as I have gotten with
my 300D and expensive Canon glass. This is not a minor point as it will take
big bucks when the new Pentax lenses come out to duplicate the Canon kit I have
now. If I switch back completely, I can't outlay that much right away. It will
definitely be incremental. :-)

Thanks for everyone's input.

Cough. I guess I am back in the Pentax fold. Part way anyway. 1/2 Lightside,
1/2 Darkside. Like that Star Trek episode. Wonder if I will be as conflicted
as that guy was?

Marnie aka Doe Probably.
