I'm in the process of revising a 72,000 word document. I had a  
professional proofreader check the same document at an earlier date.  
Unfortunately, due to subsequent revisions that I made, my latest  
version doesn't match the proofreader's marked-up version in page  
numbering or even line count. I'm using Word's  Edit/Find function to  
locate the text I need. With some practice, this method becomes quite  
efficient.
