Sorry Doug I would not underwrite that statement. PDF has its merits and comes close but still differences may occur in print. For example if the used fonts are not embedded completely into the PDF for copyright or other reasons. I have a German book "mit PDF ins Web" from "Thomas Merz" explaining all that in detail.
