All all EIs? On the *istD at EI 400 I get typically usable exposures with a 500FTZ if the flash distance is over about 6 feet ... especially if shooting RAW. But there was no consistency at EI 200 or EI 800. So, I mostly dial down the 500FTZ to a manual setting that works for the distance I'm shooting, and make minor aperture adjustments to compensate.
