For those new to the list, and for those who may have forgotten, we hape a Frappr! map for the PDML, located here:
http://www.frappr.com/pdml/map You can place your name and location (and a photo if you wish) on the map. That helps us know where folks are located. Then, if a list memeber is travelling to s particular area, or just wants to ask a question of someone from a particular city or country, that member can look at the map and see whom he or she might want to contact. There doesn't seem to be any real privacy isssues, as generally you only located yourself by city or town, and you don't have to put any more information into your "shout out" then you think necessary. Give it a try. I met up with Markus in Zurich, Thibouille in Brussels, and Jostein in Oslo, all because of this list. In each case, it made my trip to those countries far more meaningful and enjoyable. This is a great group, full of knowledgable and helpful people, and locating ourselves on a map is just one aide to knowing more about each other.
