The value in any of this equipment is in its use, not in its longevity, future usability or residual value. If you bought it and didn't use it much, well, that's your fault not Pentax'. It's why I have not yet purchased a dedicated flash unit of any kind: I don't get enough use out of high-falutin' flash features to be worth the money.
