America failed to do it in Vietnam, because we didn't go in immediately
with full force. Nor should we have. We were only intervening. The
Soviets were crippled by the time they waged war in Afghanistan. The
Afghans could escape this predicament by turning over Bin Laden and
other known terrorists and forsaking their aggressive position. But I
don't think they will. Therefore, they must be destroyed.
