Consider that whenever the power is off or between exposures the
platform on which the CCD is fixed is free to clunk about in the body,
so it's probably best not to carry K10Ds either. ;-)

The greatest probability is that the sensor, mount and associated
electronic connections have been designed to withstand far greater
forces than are inflected on it by the DR system so I suspect all the
fuss is over nothing.
