Hello!
I asked this question about a year ago, but received response only from
2 persons, probably because not too many people had that lens or noticed
my question. So let me try it again.

When I had a chance to try this lens I found two issues:
1) the plastic hood is loose on the lens.
2) it does 4 runs when AFocusing in a relatively low light (say, 1/10-1/60
at 2.8 at ISO 100) even on a subject with a good contrast.
(so, it hunts like this: forward, back, forward, back)
This was observed on my DS, and I don't see much of that with other
lenses under the same conditions.

So, my question to the happy owners of Pentax D FA Macro 100 F/2.8:
Do you observe any of these two issues or it was a bad apple (aka
lemon)?

Thank you,

Igor
